Units to Unlock report
This report allows you to see which facility units are being displayed to prospective tenants in INSOMNIAC Online so they can be prepared for tenant move in.
Things to know
- The maximum number of units that are shown as available in the report and displayed in Online web pages at any given time is determined by OpenTech configuration settings. The number of units shown can be less than the limit if the current number of unoccupied units is lower than the specified display limit.
- Available Unit listings are automatically adjusted to take into account any unit rentals and reservations that might have been done after the most recent available unit update was obtained from the PMS (Property Management System). However, unit rentals and reservations can also be completed at the facility, or in some cases, by external third party services, and this information might not be immediately available for inclusion in the report. In this case, facility managers might occasionally see units listed as available in the report (or in Insomniac Online) that are actually known to have been recently rented.
To accommodate such situations and improve your ability to anticipate future unit preparation tasks, a secondary list of On Deck units that are next in line for future rental is also shown in the report.
NOTE: On Deck units are not displayed to prospective tenants in INSOMNIAC Online web pages.
- Several system configuration settings jointly determine the sequence in which unused units are put back in the rental rotation:
• System settings allows you to sort available units in ascending or descending order based on unit names.
• You also have the option to list units according to how long they have been vacant, or to list them arbitrarily based on the order in which they are returned from the PMS database. For more information, contact your OpenTech Customer Success Manager.
Report data
For the selected facility, available units are arranged in groups by unit type.
If shown, the unit labeled Next Unit on Deck and any units listed below it are not currently displayed in INSOMNIAC Online web pages.
NOTE: The maximum display setting for Available Units is also used to determine the maximum number of On Deck units to show in the report. Depending on current available inventory, the number of On Deck units shown in the report can be less than the maximum display limit.
