Things to know about XpressCollect : User roles and permissions
User roles and permissions
XpressCollect permissions are granted by means of the product role assignments included in the OpenPortal Users tab. The following user roles provide access to XpressCollect administration functions and system reports:
XpressCollect Administration - This role gives users access to all product features.
XpressCollect User - This role limits personnel to use of the following capabilities:
- Send Preset Messages page - Users can access this page to select tenants and send pre-defined messages.
- Tenant Exclusions page - Users can access this page to select tenants when the business decides to exclude them from receiving system notifications. This page also provides access to functions that can be used to assist blacklisted tenants when they want to restore their eligibility to receive account notifications.
XpressCollect Manual Calls - This role gives users access to the Manual Calls feature.
XpressCollect Reports - This role gives users access to the XpressCollect system reports.
NOTE: To access the Manual Calls report, users must have both the XpressCollect Reports role and the XpressCollect Manual Calls role.
Email message templates
Emails generated by XpressCollect are based on an HTML template that specifies the email subject line, facility images, font types, size and colors, borders, standard text for message headers and footers, and other items. When users configure scheduled payment notifications or create manual email messages, they are required to identify the template that will be applied to the message by making a selection from the Email Template list.
The standard product offer includes a default HTML template, and OpenTech provides a fee-based service for creating additional email templates to customer specifications.
