Things to know about XpressCollect : Online payments system
Online payments system
XpressCollect reminder messages direct overdue tenants to an online payment site which uses OpenTech’s web-based INSOMNIAC Online tenant payment system. If your organization is already using INSOMNIAC Online, the XpressCollect payment system is integrated with your existing online payment system. Otherwise, overdue tenants are directed to the generic online payment system provided with XpressCollect.
NOTE: The [FacilityPhone] number variable can also be inserted in notification messages to give message recipients the option to initiate a call to the facility or some other designated end point when a notification text or email is viewed from a mobile phone.
Things to know about the online payment system
Tenant identification - To facilitate ease of payment, the system automatically identifies tenants who have accessed the payment URL via an XpressCollect text or email so they will not be required to submit identifying information.
Payment methods - The payment system can be configured to support the following payment methods:
Credit cards
Bank account transfers mediated by the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network
Support for multi-unit rentals - If a tenant has more then one unit, the payment system supports the ability to submit individual payments or a combined payment for all units.
Tenant Opt In/Opt Out controls - Tenants have the ability to enable and disable notification messages if they choose to do so. The Manage Alerts button, which is available to all tenants who access the payment system, allows the user to enable and disable notification messages at any time if they choose to do so.
Online payment page
Clicking the payment link in a notification message directs the tenant to the online payment page:
NOTE: If the tenant has more then one unit, the account balance information for each unit is displayed and the tenant has the option to submit individual payments by unit or click the Pay All button to submit a combined payment for all units.
